Figuring out what space we need

by Tammy on December 15, 2008

Dee Williams, my hero, was in the Seattle Times article yesterday. The article talks about how “people in the Pacific Northwest are facing more urban density, and are trying to reconcile their environmental urges with their personal need for space.”

Williams “lives in a tiny home perched on a flatbed trailer in the corner of her friends’ backyard. Her living space motivated her to reduce her personal stuff to just 300 items, demonstrating that how much space a person needs is a personal matter involving everything from cultural background to political choices.”
