Witnessing this momentous day in modern political history gives me hope. Seeing so many people on the capitol mall today gave me the chills and left me with a feeling of inspiration. Despite my fears and cynicism, voting for President Obama is something I’m proud of. He will make mistakes and I don’t believe the Obama administration can change the world overnight or in the first 100 days, but this man has inspired millions of people. This was truly a remarkable day! So glad I spent it at home with my beloved kitty and a good friend. BTW, I spent the time with the good friend on our cell phones, she was in the Maui airport traveling to Oahu and I was in my bed all curled up cozy and content. Who could ask for anything more?
