On Sunday, we carpooled out of the city and had a lovely dinner with friends and colleagues in the Dixon hills. Seeing amazing views, meeting cute goats and sheep was most excellent.
The home we had dinner at was absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t see myself living in such a large house, but the design was amazing. The exterior of the home reminded me of the southwest and Earthships.
The house had a beautiful courtyard and breathtaking views of the Sacramento Valley. I’d love to park a tiny home on one of these hills, but the biking commute would be way to long. Visiting this beautiful home made me long for a backyard garden and more space to spread out. I love our tiny apartment, but it would be great to have…land.
My favorite part of the evening was meeting Poncho and Cisco:

What a lovely trip! That courtyard is beautiful!
The courtyard was my favorite part of the home. It took L’s friends almost 3 years to build the place. I guess they stayed in a tiny trailer while they were doing all the hard work.
