After reading Gwen Bell’s post on creating a personal manifesto, I’ve been working hard on creating my life list. Below is the beginning of my life list. I still have a lot of thinking to do about what exactly I want to add. The list is in no particular order. But it’s a good start…
start and launch my freelance business / become an amazing photographer / continue to improve my writing skills / be a blog ninja / bike across the country/ bike across the Pacific Northwest / move to Portland / get a dog / take a 6 month sabbatical from the work world / take longer vacations rather than waiting to “retire” / move to the ranch with our tiny house / continue to build my tribe / create, create, create / try new things that make me uncomfortable / take photography classes / take web design classes / purchase an iPhone / finish my ebook / write more ebooks / write a more formal book / help people live simple and happy lives / buy a tiny house /…
I didn’t realize how many things I want to do in my short life until I actually made this list. I’ve been meaning to inventory of my own dreams and life goals for the past month. So I’m super excited that I discovered Gwen’s blog. This exercise has helped me refocus my life energy.
So peeps, have any of you created a life list? And what are you dreaming about?

Thanks for sharing your inter most thoughts. I refine my dreams every so often.
Thanks for sharing your list Katie. Very cool stuff.
I’m going to make a life list. I used to do it all the time, anytime I felt like my life was turned upside down and shaken. Only I called it a “sales order to the universe.” I’m kinda nutty that way…. I like your list. it looks alot like mine will!
keep on photographing! I’m going to be placing another order here soon!
I love your list. I need to make my own. To see if my life is actually going the way I really want it to go. Thanks for your inspiration.
Loved reading your list. Thank you for sharing the physical piece of paper you’re writing it on, too. Wanted to let you know I live in a “tiny house” that I think you’d love. And I’m thinking about taking the 100 Things challenge. Big love.
@Gwen – Thanks for the inspiration to start a life list! I’m totally loving the process. Tonight, I’m going to start on my vision map. I’d love to see photos of your tiny house! I’m obsessed with little houses. Hopefully, we can buy one next year. Let me know if you decide to do the 100 Thing Challenge. Love and hugs back.
@Marci – Thank you for reading RowdyKittens. Keep me posted on the progress of your life list.
