I’ve been tinkering with the layout of RowdyKittens today and made a few changes. The search function, follow-me links and advertising is at the bottom of the website.

Why do I love thesis?
I can customize and change the look of RowdyKittens anytime I want without messing with my theme’s core code. In addition, Thesis has already been made search engine friendly. Another awesome feature is the Thesis community.
Chris Pearson created a fabulous forum where bloggers can help each other build better blogs and leave tips and tricks.
Thesis costs $87 for a personal license or $164 for a developers license (you can use this license on as many blogs as you want).

I’ve heard people who say ads do best on the bottom of their site, so I bet this will be a good change for you. I hope so anyway. I love your minimalist look and need to rearrange my own blog to fit in. Mine feels way too chaotic at the moment.
Marci – My main focus has always been on the blog content. Keeping RowdyKittens simple and easy to read is really important to me. For now, I’ve taken down my google ads. I didn’t like the tone of the ad content.
Hopefully, folks will looking into the thesis theme and buy through my affiliate program. It rocks!

So, along with a simplistic look and easy-to-change layout, what are all of the pros with the Thesis template? I just use free templates and have wondered about paying for a simpler, more sophisticated one.
There are a number of pro’s that go along with the Thesis template. I love the theme because I can customize and change the look of RowdyKittens anytime I want without messing with my theme’s core code.
For instance, I can change the column layout and font with the click of a button. In addition, Thesis has already been made search engine friendly. Another awesome feature is the Thesis community. Chris created a fabulous forum where bloggers can help each other build better blogs. The forum contains a wealth of information.
