Best Project of 2009

by Tammy on December 21, 2009

Orland Fun_Dec 2009_05I’m participating in The Best of 2009 Blog Challenge. Are you?

Q. Project. What did you start this year that you’re proud of?

A. I created a photoblog called unconventional photography a few months ago.

Why? I’d been thinking about the concept for the last year, but was too scared to do it. I wasn’t sure if it would be well received or if people would actually read the blog.

So I started adding photos to RowdyKittens and to my surprise folks actually liked them! I received a lot of email requests from folks asking if it was okay to use my photos on their blogs. So unconventional photography is uncopyrighted.

I still have a lot to learn about photography, but I’m taking baby steps. By far, this is my best project of 2009.

Wonderful site! I was not aware of it but you just won another subscriber there. If it’s ok (and I bet it is) I will post about your site over at my tiny place. Great work must be shown around!

Here via the #best09 challenge, and WOW what a story y’all have. First, the photography is lovely, and second, the downsizing is incredible. Inspiring. Impressive. Thanks for sharing your story!
