Best Trip of 2009

Dee's tiny house!

Dee's Little House

Have I mentioned how much I love Gwen Bell? She inspired me to create a life list and vision map. Thanks to Gwen I have my own personal manifesto.

She also motivated me to participate in The Best of 2009 Blog Challenge. For the next 31 days, I’ll be doing my “year in review – with a group – one day at a time.”

Today’s topic is: the best trip of 2009.

Attending Dee and KT’s Little House Construction Workshop in Portland, Oregon was the best! I met my tiny house hero Dee Williams, the amazing KT and so many awesome Portland peeps.

This trip was a great adventure. We decided to go at the last minute, made new friends and took inventory of our dreams. Even though the trip wasn’t planned, it was very productive.

Leave a comment and tell me about your favorite 2009 trip. :)

I’ve only been out of Campbell Town for 3 trips this year, which is a slow down for me. I loved all 3 of them for different reasons. When I went to KC, although it was a business trip, I still was “home” and got to see some friends and family. Chicago is always great fun, it was business as well, but I also visited the neighborhood in which my mother was born and got to walk the playground where she went to school. Eureka Springs – another business trip, but my husband got to go with me on that one, giving us some time away together – and we got to eat real Italian food at a restaurant! :)

@Kerri – how wonderful! I feel so lucky because I took a number of awesome business trips this year and met amazing folks along the way. So it was hard to narrow down the best trip of 09. :)
