A. I loathe shopping. Going to the mall and buying stuff is not my favorite form of entertainment. But I have to make a confession…
Earlier this year, my friend Emilie came up to visit. We had a lovely time and she took amazing photos!
Em inspired me to take the plunge and finally purchase a new camera. Buying a new camera and 50mm lens was a big deal. The purchase hurt my wallet, but the joy I’ve received from photography was well worth the cost. 
Taking photos all the time has changed my perspective. I see things in a different light and have learned to savor the details of life.
