A year ago we wrote about Gary Chang’s Domestic Transformer, an incredible 344 square foot apartment that could change into any of 24 different designs. We showed pictures and plans, but more than any house I have seen, this one needs a movie. Planet Green visited it for the World’s Greenest Homes, and it is truly four minutes of wow. When I looked at it more, it actually looks like the studio I am living in right now.
But then I thought: noooooo we can’t be in 344 square feet. That sounds tiny!

This guy’s design is amazing! I’ve heard that necessity is the mother of invention, but marvel at the amount of forethought, ingenuity, and creativity involved in his plan.
Wow, this is a very interesting concept. I think we have a lot to learn about how space can be used for living. I do wonder how to get something like that here in Mexico. I guess we are still a bit far from thinking in that way.

Since I’m not really looking for a new place I haven’t, lately apartments are very small but homes are not too much. I should look into it during the year.
Even with a lot of books I take very little space =)
